Well, we had a rough weekend with Eli at children's hospital and we are still trying to figure out what's going on. The issue is a bit of a t.m.i. but it gave me pause about our decision not to circumcise our boys. However, the doctors have assured us that that's probably not the issue and we are going in tomorrow for more tests and hopefully some more answers.
Eli was put on antibiotics for the second time in his life and it has been a bit of a nightmare trying to get 13ml in him twice a day. At first he spit everything out and said "Yucky, stinky poo poo medicine". I was at a loss as to where to begin to get him to take it. The song from Mary Poppins's popped into my mind and I was like, " How can I give him "a spoonful sugar". We ended up compromising with 2 bites of a candy cane after the grueling task of taking his grape flavored concoction... Not my proudest parenting moment but a mama's gotta do what mama's gotta do....
Welcome to our blog
Even though I am starting 4 years into the process, I am going to document my experience with raising a family. After finding out that you can print your blog into a book, I decided this would be one of the best gifts I could give to my children and to myself. The moments are precious but life is moving at such a fast pace that I just don't have time to appreciate it all. I want my kiddos to know how much they are loved even when life is crazy...Enjoy.

Naked Superheroes
Eli is now 2.5 years old and is certain that when he is naked, he is Buzz Lightyear. My friend, Katie was over today and he kept pulling me aside to let me know that he wanted his clothes off. Finally, after asking a few times I took his shirt off and he was sooo excited to show Katie his 'buzz lightyearness' in full effect. "To infinity and beyond!" he yelled whilst flying in the air. I love it...
Hudson did the same thing when he was 2.5 except, he was spiderman whilst out of his scivies. I remember taking him to the museum center and there were some 'big boys' on the way in while we were on the way out. I was pushing Huddy in a stroller and he was lifting his shirt slowly to the passerbys, showing them his full spiderman glory, waiting and watching for their overwhelmed surprise. It still cracks me up and probably always will...
Here's few pics of them being "dressed" super heroes...
