We spent a good lot of our spring addressing the bajillion honeysuckle plants infesting our little patch of woods. We our becoming more and more interested in agroforestry and finding ways to grow food in our woods. Low intensive farming with high yields and lots of shade. Sounds good to me. However, you have to get the honeysuckle under control in order to let anything else have a chance. We had a couple of honey suckle bonfires and we will still need to get a wood chipper to put it all to rest. Hopefully, the wild ginger and may apples took advantage and encrouched on honeysukcle territory...
